Senator Casey got to meet Pennsylvanians visiting DC with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, who are advocating for more funding for mental health, especially suicide prevention. Mental health deserves more attention, and Senator Casey was pleased to vote for S. 2680, the Mental Health Reform Act, when it was considered by the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee in March. He hopes this bill will soon become law.
