East Earl, Lancaster Co, PA
Senator Casey visited the Joseph Smucker Farm in Lancaster County to directly observe the Farm Stewardship Program (FSP) of Stroud Water Research Center. The Farm is a local dairy producer in East Earl, PA that is a participant in the FSP. The goal of the FSP is to improve both water quality and fish and wildlife habitats on the watershed. On the tour Senator Casey observed firsthand the agricultural best management practices that participants in the FSP use to improve water quality by reducing waste runoff.
