U.S. Senator Bob Casey visited the Pocono Medical Center (PMC) to see firsthand the growing issue of infants born dependent on opioids and facing withdrawal. Senator Casey toured PMC and spoke with doctors treating these vulnerable infants.

Visiting the Pocono Medical Center to see first hand the growing issue of infants born dependent on opioids. My bill, the Protecting Our Infants Act, was recently signed into law by the President, and assists programs like PMC in treating infants born dependent on opioids.
