WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Senator Bob Casey announced today that the Appalachian Regional Commission has awarded $150,000 to the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Corry to renovate a downtown building.
“I am pleased that the City of Corry is receiving funding to redevelop a building in the heart of its downtown,” Senator Casey said. “Because of these federal funds, a currently vacant building will be converted to an arts and crafts studio and Amish products outlet for all Corry citizens to enjoy.”
The funding will be used to replace broken windows, remove lead paint, update ventilation systems and prepare the building for conversion to an arts and crafts studio and Amish products outlet.
