Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) announced today that 19 Pennsylvania students have accepted appointments to the United States service academies.
“The mission of our U.S. service academies is to provide cadets with the knowledge and skills essential to a career in our Nation’s military, and I am proud to recommend each of these students for appointment to these great institutions,” said Senator Casey. “These young people have distinguished themselves in the classroom and in their communities, and I am confident that they will represent Pennsylvania with dignity and honor. For years, our Commonwealth has contributed talented individuals to the Nation’s military, and I congratulate these students as they continue that tradition.”
