WASHINGTON, DC- U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) today released the following statement applauding the passage of a Continuing Resolution needed to fund the government for the rest of the year.
“I applaud today’s passage of the Continuing Resolution. It will help to ensure that the safety of Americans at home and abroad is protected by funding our homeland security and the military while addressing the pressing needs of Americans in these tough economic times. This bill will also give a much needed pay raise to our military, will help families heat their homes this winter and provide more opportunities for higher education.”
