Senator Casey Worked to Bring Post Exchange to Reality / Exchange Will Support Nearly 170,000 Members of Military Community in PA, OH, and WV
Moon Township, PA- U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) today praised the opening of the new Post Exchange at the groundbreaking in Moon Township. The exchange will house a retail store, military clothing sales, Class Six and a barber shop. The facility will be adjacent to the relocated Commissary at the McGarity Army Reserve Center. Casey worked for years to relocate the Post Exchange to Moon Township.
“This relocation is a great victory for southwestern Pennsylvania military families,” said Senator Casey. “Along with the construction of the commissary, Navy Operation Support Center, and the 911th Airlift Wing, the region continues to hold strong in military assets. The exchange will not only help the economy but will also support the 168,000 eligible members of the military community in our Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia region.”
Senator Casey has advocated for the relocation of the Post Exchange since his first days in office.
