Casey Pressed for Clear Timeline to Move Project Forward
WASHINGTON, DC –U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), who was instrumental in bringing stakeholders to the table to move the rehabilitation of the Lancaster Train Station forward, released the following statement after the announcement of a timeline for the project’s next phase:
“With the first stage of improvements at the Lancaster Train Station nearing completion, it is imperative to the region’s economy for the next phase of the rehabilitation to start without delay. I pushed for more transparency so that residents and commuters who rely on convenient access to the station have a clear timeline of expected work. This project will strengthen Lancaster’s economy by encouraging business and leisure travel, and I will continue to fight for its timely completion so that the region can quickly benefit from the economic boost it will provide.”
