Weilheimer has been a judge on the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas since 2014

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senators Bob Casey (D-PA) and John Fetterman (D-PA) announced the Senate’s confirmation of Judge Gail A. Weilheimer to serve on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania:

“For decades, Judge Weilheimer has served the people of Southeastern Pennsylvania with integrity. From the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office to the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, her experience makes her exceptionally qualified to take on this new role,” said Senator Casey. “I was pleased to vote to confirm Judge Weilheimer and I look forward to seeing her continue to serve the people of the Eastern District.”

Judge Gail A. Weilheimer has been a judge on the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas in Norristown, Pennsylvania since 2014. Previously, Judge Weilheimer worked as a senior counsel at Wisler Pearlstine, LLP in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2013 and as a litigation associate at Frank & Rosen LLP in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania from 2003 to 2006. From 2004 to 2008, Judge Weilheimer served as an elected Commissioner for Abington Township, Pennsylvania. In 2002, Judge Weilheimer worked as an associate at Abrahams, Loewenstein and Bushman, P.C. in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before that, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office from 1995 to 2002. Judge Weilheimer received her J.D. in 1995 and her B.A. in 1992, both from Hofstra University.
