WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA), Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs, released the following statement on today's bus bombing in Jerusalem:
“I strongly condemn today’s bus bombing in Jerusalem which injured more than 20 innocent Israeli civilians. This attack reflects a disturbing trend of violence against Israeli civilians. The U.S. should stand by our stalwart ally Israel and I support Israeli efforts to protect its people and bring these terrorists to justice.”
