“Today I join citizens across the Commonwealth in congratulating Pennsylvania resident Sukanya Roy for winning the National Spelling Bee. She is a model of hard work and perseverance.
I would also like to congratulate Pennsylvania resident Joanna Ye who finished third place. These students are wonderful representatives of our State who are great examples for youth across the Nation.”
