Casey Pledged Support to LORD and PA Governor to Keep Jobs in Erie
WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) today praised LORD Corporation’s decision to maintain operations in Erie, ensuring high-paying jobs are not shipped elsewhere.
"LORD Corporation’s decision to stay in Erie will save jobs and boost the region's economy,” Senator Casey said. “LORD looked far and wide but at the end of the day it's no surprise that they found Erie's workforce to be the best choice."
Senator Casey spoke with LORD Corporation CEO Rick McNeel in October about preserving the company’s footprint in the Erie region, and he reiterated his support in a letter to McNeel last month.
