Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will award a BUILD Grant for the Erie Bayfront Parkway Project:
“I was proud to speak directly with Secretary Chao to advocate for PennDOT to receive a BUILD Grant for the Erie Bayfront Parkway Project. The $21 million award will allow for significant improvements to make the Bayfront Parkway safer and more efficient for pedestrians, cyclists, drivers and public transit passengers alike. The funding gives PennDOT and the City of Erie an unprecedented opportunity to improve the region’s infrastructure and connectivity for generations to come.”
