WASHINGTON, DC-U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement today in response to the Third Circuit and Pennsylvania District Court nominations by President Bush:
“Senator Specter and I have cooperated in a bipartisan process, which included a judicial nominating panel, made up of prominent citizens, for the District Court nominees.
“All the nominees have strong academic qualifications, significant experience as lawyers and/or judges, unquestioned integrity and the temperament to be excellent judges.
“I expect that the confirmation process will affirm the strong qualifications of these nominees.”
