WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001:

“Today, we solemnly pause to remember those we lost on September 11th and the remarkable valor Americans showed on one of our Nation’s most tragic days. From the skies above Shanksville to the streets of New York City to the grounds of the Pentagon, Americans came together and in some cases sacrificed their own lives to save countless others. On this anniversary as on those past, we should renew our commitment to bringing terrorists to justice as well as facing our economic challenges with unity and cooperation to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of all Americans.”
