Washington, DC - U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released a statement on the Clean Power Plan:
"I worked with EPA on changes to the Clean Power Plan that addressed the grave threat of climate change in a way that made sense for Pennsylvania’s diverse, energy-producing economy. The result was a plan that protected Pennsylvania jobs while putting us on a path to a clean energy future.
"I am disappointed that the Trump Administration has abandoned the Clean Power Plan. I support a public hearing in Philadelphia because this Administration owes the people of Pennsylvania an explanation as well as a path forward on one of the most pressing issues of our time."
