Washington, DC - U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released a statement following Congressman Bob Brady’s decision to retire from Congress at the end of his current term.
“Congressman Brady has given two decades of his life to public service, always fighting tirelessly for the people of Philadelphia’s 1st District. Congressman Brady has always put workers first. I worked with him to invest $271 million into the Port of Philadelphia deepening project, which will act as a driver of economic growth and sustained job creation for years to come. Without Congressman Brady’s advocacy and leadership, this project and many others would not have gone forward. Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth is grateful for his service.”
