Washington, DC – Today U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement on the interim report on VA wait times by the Inspector General:
“The interim report on wait times by the Inspector General is disturbing and reveals that the waitlist problem may be more significant than the initial reports revealed. The Administration must immediately undertake significant reforms to ensure veterans receive quality care in a timely manner. It is unacceptable that any veteran should have to wait over 100 days just to get an appointment. Our veterans deserve care that honors the sacrifices they've made to our nation."
