Washington, DC - Today, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released a statement following an announcement that Kraft Heinz Co. will close their LLehigh Valley Plant:
“I’m concerned by the loss of jobs at Kraft’s Lehigh Valley facility which will have a negative impact on the Lehigh Valley’s economy and a substantial and adverse impact on the workers and their families. Losing one’s job is a horror and it’s critical that Kraft Heinz and all levels of government work together to provide these families with the resources to find good jobs with a sustainable income.”
