Washington, DC- Today, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement on the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) proposed rule changes:
“The NLRB’s proposed changes will help reduce barriers and delays workers, and businesses across the country are experiencing when exercising their rights under the National Labor Relations Act. The strength of our country’s middle class and the ability of workers to freely organize and bargain for a safe workplace and a living wage is directly linked. This proposed rule will protect the voice of workers and in turn strengthen the economy and give middle class families in Pennsylvania and across the country more security. At the end of the day, this proposed rule levels the playing field for workers and business owners. This is a matter of basic fairness.”
