Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) released the following statement on the death of United Steelworkers International President, Tom Conway:
“I am saddened to hear about the passing of Tom Conway. Driven by a fundamental belief in the strength of American workers, Tom dedicated his career to protecting jobs here at home and advancing labor rights. He got up every day and fought to improve the lives of workers and their families. I was proud to work alongside Tom for many years. My condolences are with the entire United Steelworkers family today.”
