“I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the brave troops from Pennsylvania lost this week in Afghanistan. These tragic deaths highlight the risks all of our servicemembers face and underscore importance of honoring their sacrifice with an unrelenting effort to combat threats to our troops like roadside bombs. These brave servicemembers, in the words of President Lincoln, ‘gave the last full measure of devotion’ to their country and we honor their sacrifice.”
