Washington, D.C. - Today, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) is announcing the inclusion of congressionally directed funding for 11 projects around Central Pennsylvania in the Senate Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Appropriations bills. Senator Casey advocated for each of the projects to be included in the appropriations subcommittee bills. The U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee released nine of the 12 bills on Monday, October 18; the other three had already been released.

“I’m pleased to advance this critical funding for projects that will invest in infrastructure, community health initiatives, and environment improvement and sustainability,” said Senator Casey. “As we build back better, these investments will help revitalize communities across Central Pennsylvania. I will continue to advocate for resources for our Commonwealth and work with my colleagues to get these spending bills passed into law.”
