Johnstown PA- Today, the 25th annual Showcase for Commerce event concluded with $2.8 billion in contracts awarded to Pennsylvania companies. Today’s announced contracts continues the record of investment in the region that creates jobs and bolsters America’s national security. The annual event highlights the region’s highly skilled workforce and dynamic businesses.
“Every year this event reminds us that the people of this region don’t wait for the future to happen to them- they create it,” Senator Casey said. “Once again the region’s businesses and the Johnstown area’s resilient, world class workforce have been on display. The investments announced today will lead to job creation and will contribute substantially to our nation’s defenses.”
